Maggi was admitted to Scottish Rite for 6 days to perform emergency oral surgery to remove a severe infection in her upper right jaw around a tooth. The tooth had already cut through the skin, but the skin closed back up around the tooth and caused an infection to set in. The surgery was performed by Dr. Jack Thomas.
While she was under anesthesia, Dr. Norman Novelly placed a set of tubes in Maggi’s ears to help reduce the number of ear infections Maggi has been getting recently.
