- 8:30am – Nurse called from the ER to say that Maggi was under anesthesia, and they had an IV in.
- 9:00am – Nurse called from the ER to say that the procedure was underway.
- 10:15am – Dr. Devito came out and told us that he is finished! He replaced the rod with a longer one, put in bigger screws at the bottom, and added a little bit of bone graft to help the new screws seat. Maggi’s still in recovery right now still sedated with the anesthesia (and some novacaine locally). Dr. said that if Maggi does ok in recovery, and we’re are comfortable with it, he may let Maggi go home today!
- 10:45am – Nurses rolled Maggi back into the room with us as she was coming out of anesthesia.
- 12:45pm – Maggi was released from Scottish Rite and sent home to recover where she’s more comfortable.
- 1:55pm – We arrived back home and got Maggi down to rest.
